Can you believe September is almost over? I certainly cannot. That just means Parent-Teacher Conference is next week and Fall Break is just around the corner.
Coin Drive: The Library is sponsoring a Coin Drive this week to raise funds to purchase more books for the library. The list of which coins to bring on which days are listed below. Room Parent Training: The Room Parent Training is this week on Tuesday the 29th for Kindergarten-3rd grade at 3:30 in the gym and on Wednesday the 30th for 4th-6th grade, same time.
Parent-Teacher Conference: Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences on the 7th and 8th of October. The scheduler to set your appointment with your student’s teacher(s) will be open on Monday the 28th. Here is a flyer with all the information you will need and how to schedule your meeting times. Oct PT Conf Flyer.pdf We will be doing a hybrid version of face-to-face or an online meeting if parents would prefer not to come in to meet face-to-face with their kiddos teachers. Remember, we will be practicing social distancing and you will be required to wear a mask while in school. For those of you who have students in Mrs. Navarrete’s class, she will be doing her PTC appointments when she gets back from sick leave. In addition, Mrs. Schaurhamer will do hers when she gets back from maternity leave.

Birthday on Marquee: Parents can now pay to have their student’s name pop up on our outside digital marquee (on the southwest corner of the school) on their birthday. The sign will say something like, “Happy Birthday to……” The cost is $5.00 and can be paid online. The instructions are below.
Pop Tops: The PTA is collecting pop tabs. They will be rewarding the class that weighs the most in November with a root beer float party. The pop tabs go to help families have a place to stay when they have kids that are sick at Primary Children’s hospital.
Fall Break: Fall Break is the 15th and 16th of October with a Teacher Professional Development Day on the 19th.
Halloween Parade & Parties: We will still have the Halloween Parade but it will be done virtually this year. More information will be provided, as we get closer. Parties will also happen with some modifications as well.
