Parents of Silver Lake Elementary Students,
This week is Sra. Marin’s last week at Silver Lake. She has been selected to be a Teacher on Administrative Assignment at Sharon Elementary in Orem and will be their assistant principal. We are all very happy and proud of her but deeply saddened that she will be leaving us. Please join us in wishing her all the very best in her new assignment.
Teacher Professional Development Day: Do not forget that the next Teacher PD Day is Monday the 15th. There will be no school.
SCC Meeting: The School Community Council has a meeting on the 9th at 2:30 PM. Anyone wanting to attend are welcome.
Teacher Appreciation Week: Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up next week. Let us make sure we are showing our amazing teachers how much we appreciate for all they do, especially this year.
Kindergarten Registration Week: Kindergarten registration for next year is during the week of March 29th. Please refer to the email I sent out with registration information yesterday.
Spring Pictures: Spring pictures are comping up on the 25th.
Spring Break: Spring Break is during the week of the 5th of April.
Yearbooks: Yearbooks are now on sale for $16.00. These will be very nice, full-color books to commemorate our first year as a school. You can purchase them by using the myschoolfees link below. The Birthday on Marquee: Parents can pay to have their student’s name pop-up on our outside digital marquee on their birthday. Please give us a couple of days to get it up, especially if it is over the weekend. We try hard to check every day and we do not want to miss anyone’s birthday if payment is made within a day or two of the actual birthday. The cost is $5.00 to be paid online.
