Parents of Silver Lake Elementary Students,
Kindergarten & Preschool Parking: When picking up or dropping off your kindergartener or preschooler, please do not park at the cub and leave your car unattended. We are starting to have problems with traffic flow. If you need to leave your car, please park in the parking lot and walk with your kiddos. If you are still in your car at the curb, please be cognizant of your surroundings and move your vehicle up so others can drop off or pick up with greater ease. Above all, please be safe and ensure for the safety of all, be courteous, patient and follow the directions of the school staff. Thank you for your assistance with this.

Munch & Mingle: On Friday the 30th we will have our first Munch & Mingle for the year. This is when parents and families can come to eat lunch with their kiddos during their scheduled lunchtime.
We will not be able to accommodate adjusting students’ lunch schedules so please plan accordingly and spread out your lunch with your kids if they have different lunchtimes. You can either do picnic-style lunch on the grass west of the gym (we will have safety staff in place for those crossing the parking lot) or you can eat in the lunchroom. Most parents bring lunches to enjoy with their kiddos however, students can still get school lunch if they desire. The lunchroom staff will be serving corndogs that day. Parents are welcome to purchase a school lunch if they would like for $3.85. Please bring the exact amount, no credit or debit cards. Please RSVP to the school’s office if you’re planning on by a school lunch for yourself or anyone other than your student(s).
Bring blankets to sit on and come and enjoy this fun activity. If the weather is poor, we will move into the gym and lunchroom. *Please plan on parking at the Church, on the street, or in our south parking lot. The west lot will be closed earlier in the day to make sure there is no traffic flow during the Munch & Mingle.

*These times are when the last class in the grade is to be at the lunchroom, so please plan to be at SL a few minutes earlier. Also, please make sure your student(s) know if you are able to come or not. You can meet them outside the lunchroom on the west side.

Spirit Shirts: If you want to buy a replacement school spirit shirt for your kiddos, you can go to the myschoolfees.com link below to purchase more shirts or pay in the office. They are $10.00 each.
The Birthday on Marquee: Parents can pay to have their student’s name pop up on our outside digital marquee on their birthday. Please give us a couple of days to get it up, especially if it is over the weekend. We try hard to check every day and we do not want to miss anyone’s birthday if payment is made within a day or two of the actual birthday. The cost is $7.00 to be paid online.
