Parents of Silver Lake Elementary Students,

Congratulations to our Spelling Bee contestants Black Brady and Evan Mansfield.  They did a great job in the state spelling bee.

Spring Break: Spring Break will be the week of April 1^st.

Lost & Found is Overflowing:  Our Lost & Found is really getting full.  Please have your kiddos look for any lost items.  You’re welcome to come and look too.  Any items left after Spring Break will be bagged up to be donated at the end of the year.

Lunch Account Balances: Please check your account lunch balances. The lunch department is trying to call weekly to remind parents but they are also busy cooking food and this cuts into the prepping/cooking time.  You can check and pay on the Linq Connect app https://linqconnect.com/main?identifier=TFCNC9 Or call the District Office Nutrition Department at 801-610-8038 to pay with a credit card. The school lunchroom can accept cash or checks.

5^th Grade Maturation:  Our 5^th grade Maturation program is coming up on Friday the 29^th, 2:30 PM for the girls in the Library and 2:45 PM in the gym for the boys.  Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend with their students.

Multicultural Night:  Westlake will be hosting a Multicultural Family Night Friday on 3/29 from 7 pm-9 pm. We will be serving dinner from 7-8 pm and have performances from 8-9 pm. English Multicultural Night 03-29.png   Spanish Multicultural Night 03-29.png

Kindergarten Registration:  Here is the flyer to get your next year’s kindergartener registered for school. Spirit Shirts:  If you want to buy a replacement school spirit shirt for your kiddos, you can go to the myschoolfees.com link below to purchase more shirts or pay in the office. They are $10.00 each.

The Birthday on Marquee:  Parents can pay to have their student’s name pop up on our outside digital marquee on their birthday.  Please give us a couple of days to get it up, especially if it is over the weekend. We try hard to check every day and we do not want to miss anyone’s birthday if payment is made within a day or two of the actual birthdays.  The cost is $7.00 to be paid online.  The instructions are below in the Online Payment & Program Registration link.
