An accident on northbound I-15 in the Lindon area has caused significant delays on the freeway and artery roads.
This road closure will impact busing throughout the district. We anticipate bus delays at multiple schools, including activity buses.
All routes will be completed, but it is unknown how long this will take.

Do you know a teacher, school employee, or bus driver who is Remarkable, Inspiring, Selfless, and/or Encouraging? Please nominate them for the ASD RISE Award. Please give specific examples about why this employee is deserving of this award. Nominees will be recognized at their school, and a few each month will be selected for recognition during a board meeting at the District Office.

This fun-filled, family event coming up on September 18th is a fantastic way for our kids to get active while raising money to support all the amazing programs the PTA provides. Every step, every dollar, every splash of color, directly helps our school.
We are using the same fundraising platform as last year and have some really fun incentives in place (see attached) for the students.
Ready to join the fun? Register today! All the details you need, including how to sign up and start fundraising, are in the attached flyer.
Let's make this year's Coyote Color Run a huge success!
Thanks,
The Silver Lake Elementary PTA

Dear Parents and Guardians of Silver Lake Elementary,
We are implementing a new entry protocol to help keep our school safe and organized. Please review the following steps before your next visit:
Entering the School
-When you enter the front doors, press the white button located on the brick wall to your left.
-The office will ask the reason for your visit.
Checking In/Out a Student
-Proceed to the computer to sign your student in or out.
-Please bring a valid photo ID—it is required to check a student out.
-The office will call your student down.
-You are invited to wait in the vestibule until your student arrives.
Volunteering or Classroom Visits
-An appointment with the teacher is required prior to coming to the school.
-Once your appointment is confirmed, and after we verify your ID, you will be invited into the office to complete a visitor form.
Thank you for supporting this process and helping us maintain a safe environment for our students and staff. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Sincerely,
Silver Lake Elementary
